Immunology is the study of the host mechanism to distinguish host from pathogens, cancer cells or transplanted organs. Research in this area is interdisciplinary and impacts broad range of complex diseases. The Immunology Consortium connects investigators representing diverse area of science in the Texas A&M University System to facilitate advancement of immunological discovery and foster innovation of medical sciences.
